In certain applications, fully demineralized water is not required, but rather water with a defined residual hardness or a defined residual salt content, which is produced by blending. The blending device VSE is used for automatic blending of permeate with RO feed water in the on-site tank. The magnetic valve of the blending device is opened as soon as permeate is produced.

Conditions of use:

The VSE option has to be ordered together with the reverse osmosis unit. When using blending devices, the desired residual hardness in the mixed water is only set once during installation. However, if the raw water hardness changes significantly, e.g. because a different type of water is supplied by the waterworks, the blending valve has to be readjusted as well.
